The Guggenheim Museum is facing a lot of flak lately. They reason behind this is because they are holding an exhibit with dogs. These dogs are faced towards each other and are running on a treadmill. Even though the museum states that it is intentionally challenging animal activist are not amused.
People are angry because they feel as though this type of art is criminal. They are taking advantage of animals who don’t have a say so, but in the name art it isn’t that bad? When thinking about this situation, animal right activist already don’t support zoos or any institution that have held animals, and just because this installation is held at a prestigious art museum doesnt change people’s mind.
Do you think the museum needs to take this “art installation “ down?
