Everyone has a different perception on what is art. Some people look at a Pollock painting and see the drama and emotion behind it, while others see a bunch of paint on a canvas. Some people see a video games and see the hours of work it took to develop a story and animate it all, while others apparently see tools used to corrupt the youth.
After recent Parkland shoot our current administration wanted to start attacking the video game industry. They believe that a potential cause of turning people violent are violent video games. Which is something both the movie and music industry had to defend themselves. I believe that this is just a scapegoat for not wanting to directly attack mental health and gun reform. My question not is not really what is to blame, but what are we going to blame next for causing criminal activity?
