In one of the most outlandish and bizarre Netflix documentary series, Tiger King digs its claws in you and takes you on a wild ride. Joe Exotic is a gay, polyandry,country singer that owned G.W. Exotic Animal Park. The main conflict in this series is between Joe Exotic and Big Cat Rescue’s Carole Baskin and their continuous feud about Joe’s treatment of his tigers that allegedly ends with Joe plotting murder for hire against Baskin.
Another interest in the documentary is the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s multimillionaire husband Don Lewis. The circumstances in which his disappearance are suspicious and Carole’s behavior during and after his disappearance is questionable. His disappearance is going to take center stage in a new crime documentary for the Investigation Discovery channel.
Joe Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison for 17 charges of animal abuse and two counts of murder for hire. Joe still maintains his innocence and has filed a lawsuit seeking $94 million in damages.
