Controversial Art banned on Facebook

Is censorship ever justified and acceptable?

Cuban artist Erik Ravelo created a controversial photography project titled “Los Intocables” which means “The Untouchables”. This project is designed to point out and discuss the topic of violence against children across the globe. The art project consists of many photographs in which each photograph includes a set of adult and child, where the child is crucified on the back of the adult. The adult serves to portray whatever force of evil the society has on the child. Many children across the world are victims of many threats such as gun violence, trafficking, sexual abuse, and war. However, the project was banned on Facebook for being too controversial. Is this censorship justified?
