Everyday Horrors: Art in the Age of Terror

The contemporary art exhibition “The Age of Terror” is described in this article and some pieces of work are shown. This exhibit uses the acts of terror and war in their art pieces to depict the horrors that have taken place. In the art museum, there are pieces related to the September 11 terrorist attacks and in one piece, it is created from “151 newspaper covers from around the world” which were all the same picture of the towers. This article shows terrorism and art together to remind people that these events occurred and to show respect for those who were killed and affected on that day. Other pieces of art in terror include video art, figurines and other objects that express the horrors of the contemporary times.
