To some, it is believed that graffiti is a creative work of art that are used to express emotion, tell a show, and show the heart and soul of the city, like described in the clip. The artist tag their art to mark their work just like some famous painters do. Most citizens don’t see it that way and so therefore, don’t appreciate it. It is seen as vandalism when graffiti shows up on offices or occupied homes. Some gang members use graffiti to let their gang be known, this is shown as a form of crime. Overall, graffiti is a way of art, but also a way of vandalism when shown in unwanted places.
