In 2007, O.J. Simpson attempted to take sports memorabilia, that he claimed rightfully belonged to him. The stolen items allegedly included pictures of his children, game footballs and other 800 or so collectibles. In 2008, during this testimony during the trial, he claimed that the collectibles belonged to his family, to his kids. Things that a memorabilia dealer in Las Vegas should not have but in fact this family is entitled to have.

O.J. Simpson was found guilty on 12 counts and served 9 years in prison and was then let out on parole in 2017.
