Recently on Twitter a video went viral about a girl who recorded Trump supporters calling her 5-year old cousin a terrorist. Everyone was retweeting the video because they wanted to find out who these Trump supporters were. In the video, you can see the little girl holding up the “Dump Trump” sign and some are saying that she shouldn’t have been holding up the sign like that and not expect repercussions. Trump supporters are saying that these two older women and this man had the right to practice their freedom of speech. As stated by one of the women in the video “This is America and we could say whatever we want”. At what point will people stop using ‘freedom of speech’ as an excuse for it to be okay to offend people? Is it okay for adults to call kids terrorist?
