This video shows the state of most rap/hip-hop artists when they create their music, which is art. The music video above is Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz, both prominent names in the rap music industry right now. They are smoking marijuana out of blunts. Most, if not all of their songs reference the “smoking”, or “rolling” of weed, at least once. Smoking marijuana has become a norm in the rap game, while still being illegal for recreational usage under both the Federal and (California) State Government. This blend of crime as art is influencing the youth who listen to this music that smoking weed is a right of passage, or a societal norm that is the “cool” thing to do.
